Information you give us. When you submit a form on this site we collect what you enter:

• Membership inquiry: first and last name, email address, and phone number.
• League signup: first and last name, email address, phone number, the name of the person you are playing with, and your preferred league night and start time.

Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and your approximate location derived from your IP address. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and reliability.

How we use your information

• To respond to your membership inquiry and contact you about membership.
• To register you for a league, pair you with your partner, and schedule your night and start time.
• To send you club news and updates. You can opt out at any time (see Your choices).
• To understand site traffic and improve the website.
• To keep the site secure and comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and the club, and only so they can provide that service:

• Vercel, which hosts this website.
• Google, which stores form submissions in Google Sheets and provides Google Analytics.
• Our email delivery service, which sends form submissions to our staff.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

Cookies and analytics

How long we keep information

We keep form submissions for as long as we need them for the purposes above, such as running the current league season or following up on a membership inquiry, or as long as the law requires. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our Analytics account.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted, or to stop sending you updates, by emailing info@gooseislandgolfclub.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to this site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
